Sony better do this game justice with advertising... Just look at these review scores... They will have a commercial by the end of next week with these review scores pasted all over the commercial... They should considering most publishers love to do that and most of their games don't approach this level of acclaim ..

I am genuinely hoping for this. I know it sounds weird, but I just like seeing a good ad, and with these scores, they should definitely be spammed. Get in a "From the creator of Dark Souls" too, and it should be getting a good boost as the first real killer IP.

The funny thing is Shuhei Yoshida passed on Sony publishing Demon's Souls worldwide because he didn't think it would do well outside of Japan. It was created by From and SCE in Japan, but when it came time to publish out outside of Japan, Atlus got the rights for NA/EU and Bandai Namco got AU/NZ. If only they knew what they had...

To be fair, games journalism has come a LONG way from just a few short weeks ago when The Order scored poorly and it was time for reviews to go away and reviewers to pull their heads out of their asses

They are already advertising it heavily. It was the sponsored product for Sportscenter recently, so they'd come back from break with their announcing describing the game.

It's not contradictory at all. There are challenges in games that are fair, and challenges that are unfair. From Software walks that line in all their games. Sounds like the reviewer experienced a lot of both.
