Haven't seen this sort of thing in years, weird nostalgia. Australia really hated blood in games in the past, so that had to be censored. Germany, apart from swastikas until a few ago, would not allow games with murdering humans, but zombies were fine (I think it was Germany, could've been Australia or even both) I think games like Left 4 Dead and Dead Island got censored if not banned.
Ratings boards are usually always overly dramatic. They always came across as some bunch of snobs being offended by a curse word and then trying to save the children by upping the age requirements.
Of course there are things not suitable for all ages, but in general it seems dumb, especially in this day and age of the Internet being everywhere and in everything.

My lasting impression was that it's Karen country. From the moment I arrived at the airport they were overly authoritarian.
Granted, spent most of my time in Perth so other areas might be different, but I'm not holding my breath.

Genuinely was thinking this type of thing didn’t happen anymore. Seemed to be a 90’s/00’s type deal. Mainly a 00’s deal when games were more “realistic” and violence and sexual themes got ya banned.

It amazes me because I have this idea of a very hearty people living at the ass end of the earth with wildlife that will fucking kill you, and yet a horror video game gets banned. What gives?
Huntsman spider loves getting indoors. They look scary (female) but are harmless to humans. Even useful. As they eat other small grotty pests. Nasty ones like Redbacks and funnel-webs are either stationary (Web spinners) or habit burrows (under rocks and rotting logs) and don't generally go into your house.
To go back on topic. Australia has become a nanny state country. Been here most of my life and it's going on my nerves.

Back in 2002. While I was on holidays in Europe. I think it was in Germany. They were running Fosters beer TV ads claiming it was most popular beer in Australia. Which was really funny, as no-one here ever heard about or saw it.

Cool packaging. I like it. I enjoyed Sh2 remake on ps5. Im sure Ill enjoy SH F. I just hope it will have connections to the other SH to add more lore to the game.I think it will release soon, they even made a steelbook for the game.

There are still so many good and very based people in Australia. I like Australia. So many countries are on the transition away from woke. So many movements and groups against woke around the world and common sense and respect to conscience is becoming norm again. The good news is Australia is also on the way to transition away from woke agenda. There are many movements, groups, tv personalities, and social media ,already standing up against woke ideolology in Australia.
