The second one was so dumb in how it kicked it all off again. And
considering it spread to France, the UK is probably safer than elsewhere 28 years later.

Jodie Comer and Finchy are awesome, the middle guy is a bit shit but I'll see this for sure.

Hopefully it's more like the original and not the crap sequel.

It's gotta be about a new flare-up of the virus, right? This time in a post-apoc but rebuilding world (or was that basically the premise of 28 weeks, I'm foggy on that one). I've a hard time believing there are still hordes of infected stalking about.

Ohhhh, what if its more of an "Omega Man/I am Legend" thing with a few relic humans and a world now populated by folks with a mutated version of the rage virus that can still somehow eek out a living? I guess the recent Planet of the Apes have been doing that very thing but I"m always down for those types of stories.

Man, I don't know...
I loved the first 2 movies but since then, we had 11 years of the walking shitty dead and its 3 (shitty) spin offs, countless other movies and videogames to the point that this whole zombie mania® not only feels passé and banal but...more dead than an actual festering corpse nowadays.

There's nothing more to be done with this whole "theme" IMO since everything has been already done, there's nothing more to be milked from this proverbial cow.
So, in the end, what's left to be seen ? The spectacle that the movie could potentially have ? Well, we had that already, we've been playing and seeing the undead getting chopped off in multiple creative ways since then due to the - again - infinite amount of media, be it movies or videogames, I suppose that they could always take this shit to space but...we ALSO had that so, yeah 😁

This should have released during the pandemic as to capitalize on the whole "infection" thematic.

I hope at the very least that it'll be well directed and acted 'cause when it comes to everything else...there's nothing that could surprise /amaze us anymore.

I like the poster, but the premise for the new film isn't very good and that's coming from someone who hoped for another '28 ... later' movie for years. I mean I get it, the infected aren't zombies and they would die out of starvation if the virus didn't mutate. But why focus the story on UK again? The whole point of the ending of 28 Weeks was to show it spread to the rest of Europe (and from there likely to Asia / Africa).
