This is pretty dark and fucked up. At first, I thought monkey playing an instrument haha...

The AI obviously picked up on Wuhan and that they are nasty, mean horrible cunts with the live animals, dogs in cages and cats in the kitchen. Ramsay catch them doing that shit he'd fucken smash their faces in Callisto Protocol style.

Honestly if this stuff gets refined it will be revolutionary.
I find all these AI videos fascinating in that what they show is clearly fake but it doesn't have that CGI look we've gotten used to from movies and TV

Yea its getting crazy, how long untill a video card can put a AI filter over gameplay in real time?

Here's a AI Music video, friend made this. Thought it was pretty cool.

My band need some music videos. How can we get AI generated ones?

Days like these...

This was actually one of the features promised of Stadia before it released. (Of course the filters were all done server-side.)

I got to test it at Google I/O one year, and it was actually pretty cool.

Hell without AI how could we get Plankton singing in Japanese?

BTW There's tons of crazy AI covers of songs, not just Plankton and other cartoon characters but somebody did this one.

This one actually manages to tell a coherent story with genre-appropriate cinematography. The writing is human, not sure about the voices. Lip movement is excellent and the syncing is very good.

It's an ongoing series for those interested, pretty clever parody to be honest. Reminiscent of the 90s show "Dinosaurs".

There is probably about a 5% hint of McCartney in that song, the harmonies the same. If someone played that on the radio i would never in million years said it was Lennon/McCartney.

These AI covers are poor currently, im sure they'll get there in a few years but i'm not a fan of any of this AI generated stuff, it's not creative at all, it's just plagarisim digitized to the extreme.

It's fair to say AI does still pictures very well and I think we'll see similar results with music.

But with a movie, it's the equivalent of a child drawing nonsense. For a long, long while humans will need to have significant input to make sure things look/sound right.

Have a look at the one I shared. Lip movement is impressive, to the point where I can't tell if it's based on real footage or not.

You forgot to tell that this video was absolutely hilarious. So many quotable lines :messenger_tears_of_joy:

The writing is indeed excellent, but what I find most impressive is just how well it works as a fully fleshed out concept using the strengths and limitations of current AI video generation.
The creators found a perfect balance with this concept. Really curious to learn more about how they got the lip movements to look this perfect, and whether or not voices are artificial or just human actors passed through a filter.

People forget that AI is in its infancy. Look how long it took the cell phone to get to where it is today. AI is going to be wild in the next 5-10 years
I get the sense I'm going to be feeling like those gamers who couldn't handle the transition from 2D to 3D.

Edit:

The memes... they'll have gone from something like this:

To: Well, to something I can't imagine.

Agreed. In that time frame people will be able to make their own feature leangth films.

After that, I'm sure you'll then be able to make full length games, all with just text prompts.

Speaking of the Beatles, AI can also be used for incredible hybrid creations.

Here, someone took this sole, short clip of Paul singing Strawberry Fields impromptu, from Let it Be (for non-Beatles fans who live under rocks, John usually sings this song and in a very different style):

And being a strong musician, they recorded what the backing track would sound like if the whole song were continued in this song, recorded at higher studio quality. Then they gave the AI the voice reference of Paul, and had it produce the vocal track. Putting it back together, you get an incredible rendition that sounds authentically as it would if Paul had recorded the full song in that style back in '69.

(copyright claims killed the youtube upload so I have to post reddit mirror)

I think this kind of re-imagining is incredible.

In the future, IP ownership will be broken by all of this, and that may lead to a lot of junk, but it will also empower incredible, faithful continuations of things from the past.

You'll see things like newly created Star Trek episodes of the classic shows that rise to the top of the AI heap due to their writing and fidelity, that will feel authentically like the original series -- actually much moreso than all the crap produced today by the actual copyright holders.

I doubt it.

How much does the AI need to advance to make everything that compose a vg?

Maybe you can make simple walking simulator like hb2 but stuff like diablo or elden ring where there is all the logistic of loot, stats, balancement etc it's gonna be a bitch to handle.
