Background: Fully recovered Destiny fan. What eventually turned me off of Destiny was its abandonment of any meaningful focus on PVP. Now, it's just a threadbare story wrapped around activities that are only fun if you're running at least a four-stack.
And then Gotham Knights. And Redfall. And Outriders. And Suicide Squad. And.
PVP can be more fun with friends, but it can also be completely enjoyable without. Single player, obviously is good on its own. But who is the user who wants to get a game that only is fun if you schedule time and coordinate with three other people? Is this person exclusively 16-22? Seems like a job just to be able to coordinate and play.
Bottom line, if someone says, "It can be played fully single player for the story experience," that's my biggest red flag in gaming.
EDIT: Couch co-op still great. Loved It Takes Two.
