Looks like a pretty big upgrade compared to Anno 1800, which is still a looker btw

Their take on a Rome city builder will be interesting to see, but the industrial revolution 1800s era will be hard to beat in terms of the sheer number of goods and cool buildings to play with.

Ubisoft is by far the most versatile AAA publisher, I dont know why so many people want to see them fail.

I still have Anno 2205 in my backlog.

They have a few decent titles but so much shit all over the plex otherwise. People want them to boot their management out and whole bunch of incompetent fluff, bit generally for the whole thing to go belly up.

Such as? The only mediocre/bad they've released lately was Skull and Bones.
You boot the manahement and you'll only get Tom Clancy GaaS from them.

It's easy to understand tho, compare the Ubisoft from 2000 to 2010, and from 2010 to now. But it's not the thread to do that so please let's stay on topic, there is plenty of other place in Neogaf to discuss this, especially recently.

It'll be interesting to see how this works compared to 1800.

1800 has such a wide variety of buildings, industry and military that work perfectly in it's setting. The industrial revolution worked so well.

Never the less I'll still check it out.
