Gaming on weed is the greatest thing ever, but I stopped doing that 10 years ago.
Nowadays I like to get crunked on whiskey and game, which is way healthier for me because you can’t do it every day.
It’s amazing how bad I am at games in these two states though.

I broke a DualShock 3 once after loosing an online FIFA match in 2012, I think? I twisted both handles in opposite directions and it broke right in the middle. Not a good look, but still better than rage quitting, and of course, I was drunk.
Also, playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas...

I'm almost always on at least two (2) drugs when I'm gaming. Then maybe I'll have a drink too. I don't do many things to excess but I do them daily. I'm just generally a man filled with too much energy, so smoking a doobie helps with that. Kratom I use to get energy after work and reduce anxiety/help my stomach.
The other night I vaped this e-liquid my flatmate got and I was like weeeeeee and took like 10x massive puffs and I got so high I was talking to another version of myself internally, solved some issues, was pretty helpful lol. Then I was watching a twitch stream and I thought the streamer was an actual tiny man in a box on the TV so I decided to go to bed

I remember playing WoW during Legion really drunk. I couldn't focus and ended up running into a tree for a couple minutes straight.

Soul calibur 4 I believe it was had this ungodly hard mode where you would fight several super difficult AI in a row. We usually couldn’t get past the first fight, and I have no idea where it ended as we didn’t get that far. However, one time we took mushrooms and as I was riding a good little wave I picked the game back up. The AI couldn’t touch me, I was dodging attacks like crazy and smacking him around the arena like a rag doll. I got further than we had ever gotten before, and I was high off my ass cracking up that I was suddenly doing so good at the game when by all logic and metrics I should have been sucking. Shit was crazy

I don't always smoke when gaming nowadays, from age 20-35 I did, 36 now and kratom has replaced it, its technically a cognitive enhancer as well as pain relief so perfect for gaming. I do remember all game plots and moments that I loved regardless of being high back then though, how fucking high were you lmao.

I remember playing Silpheed on ps2.
Had a hard time trying to beat the final level sober on normal. Got drunk and beat the last level on hard without dying.
A few years later I tried to beat the 1st level on smb1 while drunk and was seriously on the struggle bus trying to make it to the flagpole.

I once played MGS Twin Snakes after smoking some Salvia and I thought I was actually standing on the screen of my TV, on the metal rafters above Metal Gear Rex looking down at a tiny Solid Snake, I have fear of heights so I freaked out and stopped playing. Felt like I would've fallen in if I closed my legs lol.

Back in the early 00s I had a mate who had this sweet gaming set up in his garage. Most Saturdays we'd play games on the PS2, listening to Happy Hardcore music (Anybody remember Bonkers?) while smoking a bong or popping ecstasy.
Many happy memories playing GTA3 and having 2v2 Dead or Alive 2 tournaments (we had the PS2 Multitap) while absolutely fucked out of my face.

I stopped as apparently it was bothering my neighbours at the time, and my friends on team speak (this was before discord was a thing) said I just swore all the time.

Used to play AvP2 high all the time. Those were the days. For some reason weed zoned me into the game and I would slay. Cant smoke anymore because of my job. :/
Play drunk sometimes and it makes me a much worse gamer. Still fun though.

Prior to family life (6 years ago) I used to play Rocket League whilst pissed pretty regularly, later I’d play high. Wouldn’t say I was a better player but I used to do fairly well from memory and would try more trick shots, arial juggling with greater success. Same for PES, would play with reckless abandon and it would work out fairly well.

Drunk is the only way to enjoy the shitty Ubisoft games.
Once back in 2013 i was in a dark room playing Splinter Cell Conviction and was playing through what is probably the hardest part. And just before I was reaching for my bottle of anti-Inflamatory meds and in the dark accidently took an Ambien then smoked a hit of pot and continued playing.
When i tell you I played the best game I have every played i cant begin to explain it. Like everything was in slow mo and the enemies all of a sudden didnt even feel like they where even trying. Like complete domination of the entire AI system. I couldnt figure out what was happening and why I was almost clairvoyent with the game. It was super strange and only after I beat the game and sat back contemplating what just happend I looked at the bottle and realised my mistake. You wouldnt think ambien could be a performance enhancer. In fact quite the opposite i would normally assume. Crazy shit.

Although I want to preface this by saying I'm not proud or anything. Life has it's way.
While playing Gamecube, Dreamcast, Playstation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360 I was smoking a lot of (dutch) weed. F-Zero GX. ResiR, Capcom vs SNK 2.. Metroid Prime. Windwaker. Shenmue. DOA2. Seaman.. And ofcourse HALO CE and Halo 2/3
Stopped smoking and started drinking some time around the ax Xbone came out. Bought it with MGSV. Good times. After a year or 2 I finally purchased a Playstation 4. But around that time I was taking heavy doses of ambien and lorezepam. Can't remember much if those years. Bloodborne. Death stranding. Oh and. bought a switch on launch for Zelda.
Stopped using ambien but started drinking more in combination with much stronger benzodiazepines which I misused. Let's say Elden Ring was a fever dream.

Created a drinking game off of the original Mario bros, rule was you couldn’t stop period not even for pipes or jumps unless on a platform (and the boss obviously), and no level skips (pipes) otherwise you take a drink. Drink when you die, and pass it. Think it was 5-1 or 5-2 that just started kicking everyones ass and usually with the hammer guys….it was an appropriate name.
