I am so impatient for Yoko Taro to give us some information on a new console game if he is working on one or will be working on one. Nier Replicant was the last non mobile, not digital only game he worked on, and it was a rerelease. Voice of Cards trilogy was nice, and Nier Reincarnation was shut down before I could play it. Needs a new console game soon. Either remasters or something new, or both If I really wanted to be greedy.

Yeah, I was actually thinking about it as I wrote that post how absolutely insane it is that their last major title was a WiiU game..

Nintendo has had their most successful generation ever, and one of their longest running generations ever, with the Switch, yet Retro Studios haven't delivered a single new game.. And the one game they will put out will likely be on Switch 2 as well. Crazy.

Credit where its due: the dead space remake by motive studio lived up to the original. I still cant believe what couldve been a cash grab ended up being the better game between it and the spiritual reboot TCP

I used to adore Bethesda Game Studios (BGS) and Rockstar.

Skyrim is my favorite video game ever. TES VI is supposed to be my most anticipated game ever but I am terrified of how bad it will be. BGS is a joke. I have no faith in them. I guess Fallout 4 was the last game they developed that I was interested in, and I didn't care for it the same way I cared for TES IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim. I don't give a shit about their crappy mobile games and live service games.

I have no faith in Rockstar, either. GTA VI will be sanitized in terms of satire, and it will be nothing more than a vessel for GTAO2 because that is where the Shark Card, streaming, and influencer dollars are at. Take-Two Interactive doesn't care about video games and gamers. They just care about milking money out of games and gamers.

I don't follow any other developers anymore. The rest are all long gone, like Midway and Criterion.

A few, but not constantly, Ralph Colantonio and Ken Levine now and then and FOLON team if they have an update on their games as i'm a fan of Dishonored and Bioshock, and Fallout London but i take no notice of the current mainstream Dev's now and just wait to see what these games are like after release.
