While there are alot of female streamers that get a huge following from they looks cuz they pretty much have they tits out with they OF linked in the description, Vara is just a face and a voice that dosent sexualize herself to gain followers. I usually give Jaffe the benefit of the doubt.
But his comments about the redhead make him look extremely bad here.
Not to defend Jaffe here, but there is a bit of a tone deaf irony in that video coming from a dude who was at one point one of the biggest gaming content creators from the early days (through Screwattack) and is now reduced to a small channel trying to stay relevant by doing the same outrage bait shit as everyone else...which can only get more than like 25k views on his videos when he talks about other content creators.

Damnit GAF, I finally get all of Varas videos to stop showing up in my feed due to her being the most boring personality that "covers" gaming, and by covers I mean just makes the same video all her friend group of creators make that is usually some kind of click bait rage bait shit and I've got to see her and Jaffe popping up in an Asmon vid. I enjoy a good Asmond video now and again but a video about both of them with his beyond toxic dumbshit chat going bananas might just be too much for me today I think.

There is nothing worth playing from AAA, no new ideas, odious identity politics, sickening online gambling mechanics, and a level of arrogance from "creators" that can scarcely be believed.
I'm holding out for Death Stranding 2 because Kojima is in his own little bubble. Will Sony let a good game be released though?

In contrast, Asmongold (much like Grummz) is popular because of WoW. They both built their audience based on their ties to the game and THEN transitioned into the culture war. Grummz weird tweets about Bethesda also accelerated his growth on twitter. That's the same reason why anyone bothers watching Jaffe's dry content nowadays.

At least post her initial video where she attacked him first so we get the full picture. She misrepresented his word to make it seem like he was insulting her for being a streamer when, he was pointing out how people who make content like her are just grifters. People like Grubbs, the Quartering, the Actman, etc. He explained in in his response video, but the only part people will focus on is where he said she has a platform mostly because of her looks, which is honestly true. Nobody is watching her to get "insightful analysis" of gaming news, lol.

Fair point regarding Asmongold. But again, this Vara girl came out of no where due to Jaffe's decision to respond, not because of her looks. Scanning some of her content, her takes seems to be more in line with "chuds", certainly, but I've seen more references to Endymiontv here talking about the same stuff than her. So I don't think the generalization really works as far as "chuds" are concerned and is a bit bizarre for this characterization of her looks and gender to be the focus especially coming from Jaffe who supposedly doesn't have a problem with DEI.

On Vara, I sure that may be true to an extent(knowing the common man), but not for me. Her videos always scoop Asmon or anybody else. She has videos on woke shit like the second we bring it up here and then Asmon reacts hours later. Because she beats so many to the punch, she gets the views. I assume you assumed she had nothing unique about her channel, but actually what I just said is true, so you are wrong on that point....
