Good, even if i'm gonna try the game, there was no space for it with mh wilds so close and february is filled with interesting games.

Smart decision from ubisoft, 1 month more of polish is also good.

Very smart and won't be the only company moving from busier times. Even some coverage dates for some games have been "delayed for readjusting" in the last 2 weeks. 2025 is for sure the year of games testing out more fluid release dates. Especially after and around GTA.

While of course we want solid dates this year is out of the ordinary in some places and with of course GTA and the idea of being more flexible is something I fucking LOVE

How many business buzzwords and jargon were used in that post?

What a bunch of gibberish

No wonder Ubisoft is in the shitter. It’s run by vapid executives that care about empty gimmicks rather than substance.

Puke.

At Ubisoft, we continuously strive to leverage our core competencies while dynamically realigning synergies to proactively allocate resources in a forward-facing manner. In light of the unexpected operational recalibration that resulted in suboptimal outcomes, we want to assure all stakeholders that this moment represents an opportunity for reflective iteration and strategic pivoting.

Our agile frameworks and robust infrastructure are designed to mitigate unforeseen disruptions; however, the emergent nature of this challenge necessitated a rapid redeployment of assets, which inadvertently impacted our holistic deliverables. While we acknowledge the temporary dissonance in stakeholder alignment, we remain steadfast in our commitment to fostering a paradigm of perpetual optimization.

As we move forward, we are activating a cross-functional task force to ideate and implement granular enhancements to our workflow matrix. By synergizing innovative paradigms with actionable insights, we aim to recalibrate our deliverable ecosystem in a manner that maximizes value realization for all impacted verticals.

We deeply appreciate your patience as we navigate this ecosystemic inflection point and are confident that the lessons learned will allow us to achieve unprecedented leverage in our operational bandwidth. Rest assured, we are committed to recalibrating expectations and realigning outcomes in a strategically meaningful and forward-compatible manner.

I had to step away from my PC after reading this. Way too funny bruh.

Didn't knew EDMIX EDMIX was writing their apology message for the shareholders.

That is by far the most pathetic excuse Ubisoft could come up to weather the impending woke disaster of a flop coming March. AC: Shadows is a guaranteed failure, and they and that wretched family controlling Ubisoft know it. They have no other game coming out that will save them financially.

2024 was the beginning of the end for the once-great developer Ubisoft. It is extremely unlikely Shadows will even be a success because, at its release, it will be well over a year since everyone found out about forced DEI in games thanks to Sweet Baby Inc.'s former employee Chris Kindred taking the gaming community by storm when he tried to get Kabrutus's list banned from Steam.

Perhaps Ubisoft's bankruptcy or acqusition by Tencent will send shockwaves throughout the Western gaming industry and be a prime example that DEI is destroying studios and publishers left and right. If they cannot and will not see this as an opportunity to admit fault with choosing this route and reverse course by firing their DEI talentless activists posing as game developers, then my time and wallet will be going towards East Asian developers that have been proven time and time again that they know their audience. Since the 1980s, Japan and now Korea and China have surprised us with high-quality games worth our time and money.

This might be more buggy than Unity was on release. 1 month ain’t going to do shit, it probably needs at least a full year. I’m expecting cyberpunk on console levels of broken.

It was a deeply retarded idea to make this game with a foreigner protag. Everything aside with the historical figure, you had to know it would be controversial. When you absolutely need a hit game to keep the lights on, why wouldn’t you play it safe.
Exactly. Now they are REALLY, REALLY taking feedback. Pfft.

Yeah, they definitely want to get away from being sandwiched between Kingdom Come 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds. March is a much safer month.

Can't compete with monster hunter and kingdom come.

Edit: Watch the switch 2 release around there with mario kart and a new 3d mario lol

Seems a bit strange to have an 11th hour delay to "focus on gameplay" effectively. That is not a good sign from where I'm standing. This should be the focus from the beginning?

I doubt the game will be bug free and in a perfect state. Delays mean nothing in modern gaming except for the fact that the original release date was probably a piece of turd in terms of everything and now it'll be slightly less so.

They just announced they needed the time to make the game better.

I highly doubt they’ve got enough time to rebuild the entire game world from Japan to Zimbabwe or some wild shit like that, just to make the protagonist fit. I personally have been waiting for them to do some real tigga shit. Not cram someone who looks like me into an unfitting environment. I'm already living that damn life in the real world. The fuck?!?!?

Are they so sure the game bombs they want to be bought before releasing it because it would tank the value further?
