Pirenopolis is a VERY specific place to travel ... any specific reason to go there ?

Also, called the people who live in the other places from Brasil Gaf to come to help you

Brasilia is one huhe tourist trap. Things you're going to see are basically public buildings and museums. I love it actually, but I don't think there are any hidden gems besides what everyone already knows.

I've never heard about Pirenopolis?

Rio, sadly never been there. Try to catch a football game in Maracana, it's Brazilian Serie A time.

I found it pretty hard to move around Brasilia, public transportation seemed pretty bad (we had a friend drive us around), but it's a nice city. I liked the lake and the Niemeyer church.
Been to Rio only once for work and the only touristy thing I did was Sugarloaf Mountain, the view is amazing. I had friends tell me that Corcovado is better, idk though. Here's some pics I took with my phone:

Everything was crazy expensive in Rio too btw.

When you come to Brasilia, try to visit Chapada dos Veadeiros. It's great. But you'll need some days to really enjoy the place (at least three I think).

I think Corcovado is better, but if you have time definitely check out Sugarloaf as well! Be very careful in Rio, though. I got robbed at gunpoint on Copacabana beach a few years ago. My parents had their credit card cloned last year and the person charged US$4,000. Honestly, if you want beaches, I would say it's better to fly up to the northeastern part of the country. The beaches there are prettier and less crowded. It's also cheaper up there than in Rio.

Pirenepolis is such an odd place for a foreigner to go, lol. It's pretty cool though, if you go with someone who knows the place.

A little walk through the city's turistical spot is pretty nice, it's a beaultiful little city with a few cool storical spots if you're interested in it. and then just spend the rest of the day in one of the many waterfalls around it.

Drink lots of water, the climate in that regions is very, very dry.
