Lots of balancing and mechanical tweaks, a few presentation improvements, and they added Dan and Joe. It's probably a better competitive game but I'm still very partial to the original release mostly out of nostalgia.

What changed?

The original game was full of simple yet fun combos. For example with Ken against a standing opponent you can do weak shoryuken, Shoryureppa (level 1) and follow up with a Shinryuken in the corner. Many combos like this were removed in Pro.

Now I gotta go and look at what was in the first collection, and I still need to pick up the Marvel Fighting Collection too. Dammit Capcom, I’m still playing thru Street Fighter 6 and Great ACE Attorney. Speaking of which, I still have to pick up that investigations collection too….

This was likely based on the original version of Sagat instead of Alpha's muscle mountain.
