Loved playing those as a kid. Spent the most time with 2, felt like that one had a nice balance between difficulty and fun. Also had a demo for the expansion of the first game and that was super fun as well as very, very challenging.

Wonder how this new game turns out. Positive comments ITT alreadt have me excited for it.

Just played the demo. Gameplay wise its fine no major complaints there. Tech/performance wise tho? Its absolute garbage. Even on High settings, no FSR(2024 game with no dlss lmao) in certain places it droped to low 40's if theres a lot of UI on screen. When moving the camera theres huge motion blur which is annoying af, massive stutters as expected of the unreal engine, lots of pop-in and buggish shadows. Overall meh.

Yeah exactly it's promising but definitely needs better performance! Multiple times it was stated it is a 2024 release, but that's not a lot of time now, is it.
I don't care if it needs to be delayed some months, just make it good pls pls pls!!

Glad to see I wasn't the only kid who loved the og game back then (and it was fucking hard .. even today especially the expansion) , it was basically my first games on my first ever PC along with GTA2 and Heroes of Might & Magic 2 .. seriously good times!

BTW pretty fun game in the genre was released recently, definitely worth checking out
