Crazy footage. Cop goes from telling kids to wear seatbelts to running towards rifle fire in 5 minutes.

This shit is terrifying. That cop is brave as hell. Really think about his situation here. He only has a vague idea where the gunfire is coming from. No idea which direction bullets are flying. Doesn't know if it's only 1 shooter. Doesn't wait for backup, doesn't even put on a vest. It's scary to think how vulnerable we are.

Sad I don't even know which shooting this is. America will never change until it's children stop growing up equating guns with power. But always nice to see good hearted and competent people on the police side of things , there is a long way to go to rebuild trust

This video and the one where that one cop calmly places his coffee cup back onto the dashboard and gets his rifle out of the truck and drops a mass shooter with just one bullet are the definition of "keeping a cool head" at work.

Yeah this is why a lot of people carry all the time.

People need to see more of this sort of thing. For the last few years a lot of the world has been wrapped up in black and white views on police, but "hero" isn't an exaggeration here. Dude reacted admirably to say the least.

Found what you were talking about:

Cool as a cucumber.

Insane line of work where you suddenly realize that this shift might be your last one, but you still go and do your job. Puts the ones at Uvalde at great shame.

I don't think people appreciate just how fast shit can hit the fan. One body cam video stands out where a cop is dealing with someone in their car in some neighborhood when a guy slows down in his car, jumps out, and rush the cop with an axe. Cop barely has time to register what's going on as he unloads on axe guy. Terrifying.
