The term DEI will die because it's tainted, progressive ideology will not. Because it cannot and has never been stopped (in the west), only slowed, that's what progression means.

The right mostly fight back in retaliation to whatever the left is doing, they have no concrete ideology of their own (far right does, but most "normie" right wingers aren't nazis), just "not whatever the other side is doing".

The left are driven by emotion and a false sense of empathy, they will never stop even if it looks like they're "losing", they will do whatever it takes.

DEI will always be around, but it will be a minority niche thing like in the past as always the case. It will not be a dominant force like it has been in the past 10 years and its influence is waning.

DEI massively lost in the past 2 years during these major events just from the top of my head:

-Harvard President had to resign in disgrace

-2024 US Presidential elections results

-Fortune 500 companies like Gillette, Anheuser-Busch, Target, Netflix, Disney had to reverse course.

-Massive losses for video game titles that went with this crazy ideology (Concord, Dustborn, Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon Age Veilguard, etc.)

Depends on what your definition of woke is. Optional gay romance in a RPG? That’s probably not going anywhere. Lectures about gender identity? That would likely stick to niche indie games, AAA would stay away from that going forward.

yep. gender ideology's done. it just so happens that it's dug in deep in the game/entertainment industry, so this'll be one of the last industries in which it'll be holding out. but gender ideology's absolutely had its day. hell, most people who've been 'going along with it' all this time have never actually believed in it for a moment anyway...

The biggest issue is that it's taken a decade for the TV/Movie industry to start to get that people don't want this shit, and even worse DEI hiring practices mean even non-woke media will be bad because it's being made by people who don't truly deserve the job. When you think about the fact that video games take 5 years or more to make, there's just tremendous potential for failure. Devs releasing a game with 2020 levels of woke in 2025 are in for a rude awakening.

With these behind the scenes deep developer dives how many lesbian females or trans people do you see? How many purple hair women do you see? You all get on here with those racist undertones when you don't even realize that you are getting played by the media and the politicians. All this war against white males is BS that racist are using to get into the door. There are forces out there that want us all to feel like we are victims. I am black and if I listened to the media and politicians I would never enjoy life because according to them someone is always out to get me or America is a racist country where a black person will never have a chance. We all know that isn't true but these folks like Trump, Musk, Biden, CNN, Fox News, Dems, Republicans etc want you to feel like you are a victim while they pick your pockets. The production cycle for games is longer than movies. We still have DEI stuff in the pipeline on the movie side (new Captain America), so we for sure have way more to go on the gaming side. I think anything being green-lite nowadays is certainly not allowing the DEI consultants to join pre-production, write scripts, boss the artists making the character models. But anything that started developing > 1 year ago? Probably still has the bullshit.

the problem was that they tried to use DEI/Woke as a means to make money, they thought there was a market and that DEI would be appealing for audiences. But this is logically flawed because DEI is an inherently EXCLUDING AXIOM, it is marketed towards a minority of people, when the goal of selling shit is to market to a wide audience.

the actual goal of DEI was a way for woke retards to insert their own twisted religious ideology into games/entertainment/culture so that they could spread their set of woke orthodoxy. it will probably just go back to how it always was, where those tenants are written in subtle ways since it's more persuasive and effective in that form anyways.
