Dear Operators,

The Black Hawk Down Co-op Campaign will be available for free starting February 21 at 3AM (UTC+0) on PC. In this intense co-op mode, you'll step into the boots of an elite Delta Force operator, thrown back into a chaotic battlefield filled with grit and courage. What was meant to be a simple capture mission turns into a nearly impossible extraction after the distress call: "Black Hawk 61 hit, going down!" Fight side by side with your comrades, relive the desperate moments of survival under enemy fire, and embrace the unshakable conviction that "No one gets left behind." This isn't just a battle—it's a test of humanity and courage.

● A LEGENDARY BATTLE, REIMAGINED
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Black Hawk Down delivers breathtaking visuals, immersing you in Mogadishu like never before. With an unparalleled level of detail and a diverse range of missions, every corner of the city tells a story, and every encounter feels visceral and real.

● PUSH YOUR LIMITS
It takes grit, determination, and sacrifice to become a legend. Black Hawk Down is the ultimate test of skill, demanding everything you’ve got. This isn’t a shooting gallery—it’s war. Every turn could be your last, and survival is never guaranteed.

● HONOR THE CLASSICS
The Black Hawk Down Co-op Campaign faithfully reboots the iconic 2001 film and pays tribute to the 2003 game Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. It brings back legendary stories forged in the flames of war, giving players a chance to experience those unforgettable moments from the silver screen. From the streets of Mogadishu to the wreckage of the Black Hawk, every detail is meticulously recreated, transporting players to a battlefield where courage and sacrifice reign supreme.

● PLAY AS A TEAM
Only the best squads survive. Choose your class, customize your loadout, and—most importantly—move as a unit to overcome the unprecedented challenges ahead.

● Is the Black Hawk Down Co-op Campaign paid content?
No, this content is free for everyone. We made this decision as we previously stated that all playable content would be free.

● Can I play the Black Hawk Down Co-op Campaign solo?
Yes, you can play solo, but it's incredibly challenging. We strongly recommend playing with a full squad of 4 players for the optimal experience.

That's all for this announcement.

I love that it's free, but my excitement is greatly lowered by the emphasis on co-op. I guess I just never looked into it enough if they said it was co-op from the beginning.

Been looking forward to this. Hopefully there's matchmaking because none of my friends really play the game.

Seems like you can also play solo but it's meant to be a co-op experience. Assuming there will be parts where having different classes comes into play.

Tag, you're it.
Why did the campaign become free all of a sudden? Don't they believe in their product?
Dude... don't be that guy. They said every playable content will be free, that's why. And it's not like they announced that the campaign would be paid so no, not all of a sudden.

Of course it's still good to keep expectations in check

Delta Force: Black Hawk Down does genuinely capture the spirit of an old-school, turn-of-the-century shooter campaign, but there are still enough unanswered questions that being guardedly optimistic is the only answer we could come up with after our time with it. Previewed by Jarrett Green

Why does it have this slightly off-putting aura, I can't quite put my finger on it.. Maybe I'm just crazy.

If someone can confirm if the campaign has controller support it would be nice, I am at work and wont be able to test it till tonight

I feel like something is off too, the fact that they are giving this for free is very suspicious
Especially since at one point I am pretty sure they said they were charging for the campaign part

Seems like even they said we can't charge for this
There are definitely some eyebrow-raising things being presented about this game. Thus, I need to play this before it is suddenly removed from stores, much like another shooter campaign I wanted to play(but never got a chance to):

I assume its nothing like Delta Force but more like Battlefield/COD yeah?
Yeah the MP is like BF pretty good tbf, although this is completely separate and looks like it plays a lot slower. Seems like a decent time.

Holy shit
Its a FTP PC game thats in beta ( well the MP is) they are adding support supposedly at some point. It's what on waiting on personally as wrists are fucked and cant play KBM these days for extended periods.

Gotta say not a fan of the comments that the campaign is very hard when playing solo. We had semi-realistic military shooters in the past that could adapt based on whether it's one player or a group of players.
