Predicts the worst decade for Sony starting 2022
I do not mind if an older game is remade and makes dramatic improvement to bring a beloved game to the modern times.
It is different when a developer makes a lazy port, make very little change, then have the nerve to charge full price.
Nintendo just did that but it's even worse. This game was released on the WiiU, re-released again on the switch, then re-released again on the same platform a 3rd time.
Here is the kicker, it's almost the exact same game on all 3 releases. I have a switch oled with the original switch DKC returns released and my buddy also with a switch oled has the 2nd switch release of this game. It's almost the exact same and visually damn near impossible to tell the difference. One little minor mode was added but they have the nerve to charge tog same as a new release.
This bullshit trend pisses me off. People supporting this shit hurts us all. Lazy ports, make almost zero change, and charge full price. This gives developers 0 reason to innovate. This is a gravy train that I hope not to see continue.
Its bad enough we get so few game releases these days but makes the problem far worse when they can just make lazy ports.
