I can't understand people who get drunk by themselves.

I'll have a glass of wine with dinner, sometimes if I'm eating alone even, but generally I only drink socially. I've even been alternating between beer and alcohol free beer sometimes when I'm out.

Here lately, I dunno. I don't really drink much. (Usually two or three with the missus if we play Rockband or practice guitar/bass on Rocksmith)

I catch myself having one or two on a day off during the day if I'm by myself.

I seem to have had a hard time coping with a few things, which leads me to trying to relax with a drink.

Problems with alcohol runs in my family, so I definitely try not to let it go further than that(meaning two or three in a social way).

I used to drink a lot. About 20 years ago I just sort of stopped. It's been several years since I have had much to drink at all. I am glad I have no addictive personality but I do feel like I want to start drinking again occasionally because I believe it will help me unwind a bit some days. However, I have no desire to go back to my early days of drinking continuously. I would miss being sober.

Never. I only drink at gatherings and never much. I did get buzzed this week though - had a half liter of a German beer. I don't remember the last time I'd gotten even remotely drunk.

I don't drink too much. 2-3 beers and that's it. It helps that with stronger liquor, once I start feeling nauseous, I know to stop.

Me and my daughter were celebrating her 21st birthday and I got pretty drunk. Didn't help that the bartender is a close friend who likes to get me drunk but I got us all home safe and sound. My daughter was DRUNK tho. LoL! And I didn't vomit til AFTER we got home. That Uber was a smooth ride tho.

There was a fire alarm at work around 11 AM on a Friday and me and 4 coworkers decided to ditch work and go to a pub.

One of my coworkers was a dude who never drank and was a real classy dresser.
He was a handsome young black dude who looked like he belonged in Boyz II Men.

We start pounding pints and he looks like he's handling his booze.
After about 4 rounds he gets up to go to the toilet and stumbles and falls on a couple's table

We get him in a taxi and forget about it.

Monday he tells me a cop woke him up by poking him with his nightstick in an alley at 6 AM.
He had lost his pants and his shoes and remembered nothing.

He was ashamed but I laughed so hard in his face.

He stayed away from us during the next fire alarm.

Same. I rarely drink alone. I have a big bottle of Fireball I got for Christmas and it's still 70% full. I just can't stand to drink alone... Like what happens if I overdo it and something happens? I'd rather that happen with my people around me. They would make sure I'm alright just as I would them.

I was always a beer dude but at the end of my drunk adventure I was really hooked on honey Jack Daniels and Grey Goose "La poire" vodka.

I swear to Christ this vodka tastes like pure pear and is a treacherous motherfucker.

You get up after an hour of sipping and walk around like you had muscular dystrophy.

I once got super drunk in my apartment by myself, ate half a bag of pretzels, and watched a couple of documentaries about the Russian Revolution and the Decembrist revolt. It was a good time. Also, sitting on the porch out in the summer with a cold beer in your hands and enjoying the peace and serenity of the neighborhood, you can't beat that.

Never during the day. A couple in the evenings at the weekends to take the edge off is fine. It’s a real bad drug though, there are plenty of illegal drugs that are much better than alcohol both in effect and how less toxic they are for your body and mind.

Absolutely. Because on my days off i'm either working on a car, playing handyman, or out fishing and i always bring a few beers with me, or some pre-rolls.
