Sure, though I mostly drink beer these days.
I never really understood the issue with day drinking on a day off. As I see it's more about how much you drink, not at what hour.
If I have a couple of beers during the day it's a problem but someone downs a six pack after dark and that's ok?

I love a day drinking session, had one last sunday with a few mates watching the league cup final, unfortunately I got home around 7 proper drunk and fell asleep on the sofa before being barged upto bed then woke around 3am wide awake ffs,

On a rare occasion I will sometimes have a beer with a meal when out but mostly I don't drink any alcohol at all.

I don't drink often, but if I do I prefer to do it alone and start in the early half of the day. Total opposite of what most say, in terms of being alone, I really wanna observe and appreciate the shift and make that a part of my time so I can enjoy it to the max, and in regards to starting earlier in the day, it allows me to spread it out a bit to maintain a steady buzz while also finishing up early enough that it doesn't wreck my sleep.
Usually it'll be ~4 660ml beers or half a bottle of Ouzo, sipped over the course of the day into the evening. Probably do this every 6-8wks then stay clean til next time, I'm otherwise a complete health nut. I'll also follow up with loads of activated charcoal, then spirulina/chlorella, NAC and a double dose of B Vits the next day.
I'll usually just game (though I sold my PS5, so usually just do some design work or faff), then as the day/evening goes on, play guitar for a bit; and then throwing on some music while very nicely buzzed, the sheer wonder of good music in the form of a good master on a good system paired with whatever it is alcohol does to you that makes it all the more appreciable. It's one of the great simple joys in life.

I have a security guard job at a high securtity building in a rural area that the general public doesn't know exists, so you can imagine, we don't really have much to do and sinsce no one supervises us at all, we tend to just watch the cameras and play DnD / chess most of the night with a few beers.
I think I had one incident to deal with in the entire 3 years I worked this job... so lots of time to kill. We never get 'drunk' , but most shifts will have a couple of beers at least.

I'll generally have a beer or two, after I inhale some green stuff. But I had the flu and am just finally shaking it after two weeks, so I haven't drank or smoked for that long.

Havent had a zip of alchohol in over a year, just dont feel it`s that much fun anymore/not worth the hangover. But a day off and gaming while drinking and listen to any damn music i wanted to was something i really loved before. Cooking some good food, drinking som coffe and then around 2-3 p.m pop the first beer and just enjoying life. When i was younger and went to festivals and shit, it was wilder, thats for sure

Drinking is too much hassle for me. Risk of headache, bad sleep and it's expensive. I smoke my pipe once or twice a month and I'll often drink one bear then. The only 'heavy' drinking I'm doing is when I'm meeting my old friends few times a year.
I can't imagine drinking regularly. My health would deteriorate FAST.

Theres a guy on one of our sites, project manager and on the way home from the job to the hotel he picks up 4 large cans of San Miguel, drinks them in the hotel room before coming down for dinner at 7 and then proceeds to pint it till around 11:30... Every single day lol when I'm over I'll join him for a few at dinner time but them Landan boys lol FFS every time I'm over at one those sites it's a proper piss up session after work then up early and in the next day, thankfully I'm not over that often as I like to keep my drinking till a Saturday nite and enjoy a few beers and a movie with the fam

Bloke I know works on the bins. In the boozer every day from 4pm till about 11pm - 9 or 10 pints a night.
Back up for work at 5 AM next day fresh as a daisy.
If that was me I'd have a headache for 3 days and have the beer shits for about a week after.

I have been wondering about this. We have a security night guard in our villa. It’s more for prevention, there is really rarely anything to attend to. So I have had this guilty feeling that I am just having someone sit with nothing they need to do for hours, days and months. My friends and wife said that the guard wouldn’t see it that way, they would be happy that we provide occupation on this relatively small island.
