that would have made sense if they were deciding to make the game now, but the game is done it was even released kinda. It's not like releasing it would lose them money now, it's a DD game.

Its the Yukio Futatsugi/Panzer Dragoon curse man.
Maybe the game took too long to make, or those involved expected Kinect software to do better than it currently is? GarthVaderUK may be onto something. If Kinect is going to be a big part of the next Xbox, Microsoft's going to need some games that won't be for my grandma.

MS probably realized that an exclusive XBLA Kinect game would not do very good, specially in the japanese market where is it could do better.
I don't know why the guy keeps working with MS...well, I know, because is the damn only company that will give him money. Fuck this industry.

This was the last thing we heard from Microsoft back in September when they announced Side Story for Windows Phone. I believe that the developer also mentioned that the delay was strictly a business move to help the franchise be successful.
The whole situation is very bizarre, my guess (hope?) is the game got moved to next-gen. It was the only kinect game from the set they announced at TGS that people really seemed into.
Double Fine Happy Action Theater/Kinect Party is pretty good.

I am hoping they are adding regular controller support. Panzer Draggon Orta did not have motion controls and that is an absolute classic. From the vids I have seen of Crimson Dragon it seems as if it's just more Panzer Dragoon - right down to the beautiful music, which is exactly what I want.
This is one of my most anticipatedc games but I will not buy kinect for it (nothing will convince me to buy kinect as I am anti-motion control). If anyone involved in any aspect of production for this game reads this....I BEG YOU, please add regular control support.

Being a game that launched on the original Xbox back in 2002, one would not imagine it having any sort of motion control method.
Anyway, I am still upset about this situation with the game as I bought a friends kinect in anticipation for the title just a couple weeks before its supposed release date late last year. Now I'm out $60 and have a useless device collecting dust

That was more for people who may not know much about Orta as well as pointing out the fact that they are completely changing the control method for no valid reason.
