I played and beat it recently combat seemed better than 1 to me but I thought 1 had bad combat.

I played and beat it recently combat seemed better than 1 to me but I thought 1 had bad combat.

I always thought the combat was way more fun in 1 simply due to getting your hands on guns. The bow was never as satisfying as the firearms to me, and finally getting your hands on your first pistol or shotgun in the original was an awesome fucking game changer and really altered the experience. At last, you could brave the night with an uzi instead of an electrical baseball bat and not be shitting your pants.

China's cultural preferences aside, I thought the model was fine in DL2. She did a great job with the VO and the character model was very representative of the actor imo.

This should also be noted that it is a SKIN (which can be considered a "new look"...but come on) celebrating the year of the snake in China.

Watching the video they DID NOT mention completely removing the old character model.

Oh if were talking guns then yea I agree. I didn't get one until the end of DL1. I got the gun in DL2 and it's laughably bad and was a PIA to get.

Yea apparently it was added later. Free add-on as far as I know but I played it off PS+ so not 100% positive. You have to do a pretty long chain of quest to get it. I only got the pistol but my friend got the others and he said they are all bad. I don't remember the guns being so bad in DL1 and I would have remembered it if they were. It felt like babies first FPS.

I liked the story. I do think she acts like a bitch about the picture stuff. Game also goes on a little longer than it needs to. Which is why I'm glad the next game is going to be shorter and a more focused experience is what they are claiming. Which I think is for the best.

it has to nothing do with she being black or whatever lol, it‘s bc she was appear to be somewhere ugly to Chinese, and her face became a bit distorted during a cutscene, not to mention that she already looks completely different from trailers

It’s an optional outfit as part of the Lunar event. The original look, based off the actress, is still there and is the default for the campaign.

Dying Light has always done updates with seasonal content and the like. I think people are looking a little too much into it.

So they swapped look, which was based on actress who is playing the character? That's really bizzare, not sure if this is "anti-woke", it feels like an asshole move, if they haven't had some agreement, that they will use their likeness for X amount of years or whatever, contracts are weird.
