I feel bad for no one that purchases fake money to buy things in a game. You've created the bane of gaming's existence, and fucked over everyone in the process.
Isnt it a red flag that even without the bonus coins being messed up that the prices are cheaper if you buy the cheapest one multiple times instead of a big pack?
Not only do you buy fewer pts so you dont overload on it, but it'll be pennies cheaper too.
This seems like a problem with steam? It looks like the first time purchase bonus eligibility isn't properly detected on steam until you actually have it connect to the purchase system.
It amounts to a shit UI. Will people not notice, yeah. Should they probably change it, yeah. But it's not like the purchase page doesn't show what you are getting.

I guess they didnt want to code it so anyone who already used the bonus offer gets the default purchase screen.
It's really no different than seeing a Costco bonus offer on the home page, but it only applies to new sign ups. Perhaps they can code it so when you log in, the bonus offer banner disappears if you already did it. But it's static for everyone.
