See? You don’t get it. You correlate Nazism way too much with racism. It’s like saying AIDS and cancer are the same. They ain’t. They’re both a sickness but they are not the same. They’re have a different origin and need different treatment.

What happened im Germany had an origin and for Nazism to come up the events that preceded them were vital. Without these events history would have probably unfolded differently.

I don’t know at what sickness we’re looking at today but it ain’t Nazism and I guarantee you that none of these clowns today will have the conviction people had back then.

Good point. I immediately thought of Days Gone as an example. So many complaints about that game were solely focused on the main character not having the 'right' identity - that's not necessarily what was written, but that's what it was. The game still sold well despite all that effort, but it clearly showed the disconnect between gaming media and, well, everyone else.

I went back to the first page to see how many posts it would take to find one and it only took 11 out of 371. It seems like there's a new variant of TDS called MDS and it's running rampant apparently.

Here's the facts, Musk achieved more so far in his life than all the people with MDS in this thread combined ever will. Musk is also right about most things. He's investing is fortune in things that will bring humanity forward even though they might not be ultra profitable, buying Twitter was part of that initiative. He only got involved in politics when he saw how corrupt and evil things had become and that we were headed for the collapse of the Western world. He was beloved until he started to support Trump, then the leftist establishment turned on him and he was even targeted by the Biden administration's weaponized DoJ. What's hilarious to me is that all the people with MDS in this thread are attacking him based mainly on 2 insignificant things: The first is that he lied about leveling his own character in a videogame (and to this they say he "cheated", but that's not what "cheating" actually means, all he did was lie about playing a game) and the second is that he made a gesture that vaguely resembles a nazi salute when any sane person could tell that it wasn't. I think you should read up on Musk's philosophy and his plot to literally unmake the constitution and install himself as a "CEO-Dictator." I can think of Robocop: rogue city being another. There was an utterly misplaced anti-cop narrative being pushed by some idiots reviewing this game to express some juvenile solidarity with ACAB and docking points for not being "political enough". Journos/reviewers like that should be ousted and blacklisted from doing any serious reviewing. They seem to be unable to separate entertainment/fiction from reality.

Thankfully, the gaming community rose above this nonsense and the game became successful.
