3rd Party Exclusives on Switch:
5
Multi-plats:

3rd Parties have successfully handed Japan to
Nintendo, the only Sony 3rd Party exclusives in 2020 that are exclusive due to technical limitations of the Switch are pretty much just
Final Fantasy and
Resident Evil- everything else is based on bias or miscalculations while determining target platforms. The funniest part is that if
Monster Hunter Switch is launched this holiday it would outsell 2020 PS4 Top 25 Software on its own lifetime. Big Japanese 3rd Parties and their galaxy brains face some of their franchises becoming pretty much irrelevant in Japan if they continue with the same policy.
At least there are some bright signs that this fall won't be just
Nintendo/
Pokemon Company show even if
Capcom doesn't end up launching
Monster Hunter on the Switch.
Taiko no Tatsujin RAP,
Bravely Default 2,
Rune Factory 5, Momotaro Dentetsu, Atelier 2, SMT III Nocturne, PuyoPuyo 2 is a decent fall line-up when we add
eBaseball &
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles which already launched. The worrying part is we haven't seen
Bravely 2 or
RF5 - also
Imagineer has another fitness game I expect to do very well
FiNC HOME FiT.
Human Fall Flat is an indie that is also doing great in Japan another game that will provide over 100K physical sales by the looks of things.

The biggest failure remains
Level-5, congrats on making the rest of these companies support seem decent... I guess. Going from a Top 3 Publishers on the 3DS to whatever they are on the Switch is surely a cautionary tail.
