This already had FPS boost on Xbox but at the One S resolution. This sounds like it's be a resolution + fps patch like Far Cry 5's last year.

Yes, it's more loot focused than FC5 but decent, can be played and beaten solo without any issues.

You should. Its gameplay is the best the series has to offer, the soundtrack is incredible, the DLC is fun, and New Dawn is just the cherry on top.

I played Farcry 5 again on ps5 after the 60fps patch dropped and there are some moments in it now that look as good as any next gen title.

Not sure about res but it's still 30fps on consoles.

It might be due to the rumoured remake or might not and it just in line.

Also great on Ubi to keep updating their games, but lol this is the worst FC (plot wise), my god.. they took the fantastic FC5 story and made it to parody level in pink dawn... still gonna grab it to play between games

Wow I didn’t realise Far Cry 5 was updated last year.

One of my favourite games of last gen.

New Dawn was ok, at best.

Far Cry is Ubisoft, not EA.

But, yes, currently both FC5 and 6 (and soon New Dawn) are on Game Pass.

Bought the PS4 physical a while ago for dirt cheap after finishing Far Cry 5, but then I found out it was 30 fps so I never bothered to play it.

Also, I hope they'll continue doing these 60 fps patches, because Ghost Recon Wildlands really needs one.

I played this last year and it was rough playing 30fps after doing far cry 5 at 60. It's a shame it didn't come sooner for me. Loaded it up today and it's a lot more playable.

It has a very different play style, more loot oriented. This came out around the time when multiple developers were making those co-op prioritized games (that could also be played solo if needed), like Wolfenstein: Young Blood.
