While Nintendo expressed some disappointment with their Mario title's performances on mobile a few years ago, Fire Emblem has become a massive hit in Asia, mainly Japan. It made 29 million in the first quarter of 2022 alone.

Oddly, Super Mario Run has by far the most downloads, over 300 million, while Fire Emblem has only 17 million downloads. I guess the microtransaction hell of Fire Emblem is just next level.
