Cores, shaders and BIOS oh my!
Seems like Namco's take on Lost Planet (after having their own take on Monster Hunter with God Eater etc.) minus the cool mecha Vital Suits sadly. Was it any good on Vita?

yes

But it is Namco's take on Monster Hunter too. Sony desperately wanted a MH game since the real thing left for 3DS.

It was pretty fun, but felt a little rough gameplay wise, but I feel playing on a controller (especially since they’re offering controls customization) might help that somewhat.

Wait it has a dub now? That's crazy, i'll probably just go sub like the original, can't stand the people who work in localization. Well, it looks good, as long as there is no censorship, I'm all aboard the hype train. Not a huge fan of MH games, but this one was pretty fun.

Honestly Freedom Wars situation is pretty crazy, feel bad for Dimps, they shouldn't have signed into the situation with Sony owning the ip. Hopefully they will be able to work something out for the future of the franchise. It's a miracle we are even getting this remaster, guess it says something about both how much Dimps cares about the ip, and how little Sony does.

This game makes me consider turning my Vita back on cause I never got around to playing much of it but I know I liked it.

Love the tone of this game, the whole sinners and re-education stuff. Probably gonna pick this up on Steam.

I remember wanting to really like Freedom Wars because I'm a sucker for any game with a grappling hook, but I did the introductory missions and then wandered around the hub world for like an hour trying to find something to do and then I think I lost interest or never found a new quest and just gave up. (I didn't pay for my copy, and I kept assuming I'd come back to it, so I wasn't trying very hard I assume but I do remember going up like 3 floors of an empty building just talking to people and wondering if there was ever going to be more action...)

Don't think this one will catch my interest a second time, but interesting that it was license-rescued.

Madam Savvy is correct in her findings/research , she helped me saved $50

I rather use that $50 to buy Dead or Alive Venus Vacation Prism
