25 January, 2013 | By Melanie Goodfellow

Argo, Bullhead and The Angels’ Share in the running for best foreign film. Noemie Lvovsky’s Camille Rewinds tops the nominations table.

France’s Académie Des Arts et Technique du Cinéma unveiled the nominations for the César Awards at its traditional news conference at Le Fouquet restaurant on the Champs Elysées on Friday morning.

The award ceremony, which will be presented by actor and director Antoine de Caunes alongside comic Jamel Debbouze as honorary president, will take place at the Theatre du Châtelet on Feb 22.

Noémie Lvovsky’s heart-warming tale about a woman who goes back in time to her adolescence Camille Rewinds (Camille Redouble) was a surprise breakout favourite with 13 nominations.

It was followed by Foreign Language Oscar contender Amour and Farewell My Queen with 10 nominations each.

Holy Motors, Rust and Bone drew nine nominations each.

In the House picked up six nominations followed by Cloclo, Populaire and What’s in a Name? with five.

Founded in 1976, the César academy gathers 4,199 members from across the French film industry and is the second biggest such body after the Oscars Academy.
