Great series, I wonder if the game will be any good ...
The first game was fun. Similar to Kingdom Hearts, but much better because of the alchemy system which was very fun to play around with.

Really? I loved KH, and I like the art on this one a lot. Is it coming to the states?

The frist game was total and absolutely crap . PSX graphics , 8 bits playability , and repetitive and bore as hell .

First game wasn't too bad. The environments were kind of plain, enemies generic, and I would say its closer to your average BEU than KH. However, the RPG elements and alchemy system do make things more interesting than they would normally be. There are basically certain objects scattered around levels which can be transmuted into stationary gun turrets or weapons. Then you can attack using other kinds of alchemy which functions more like magic (making spikes shoot out of the ground, for instance). You can also make Alphonse block and charge attack for you. So it does make the action a bit more diverse, but its not the best game ever....

I love the anime series (the best out there in the moment, even better than Naruto ,my dear fanboys) but I am somehow afraid the game can't compare to the series.
Maybe they should just make a decent 4-player cel shaded fighting game like Tomy did with Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 1 and 2.

Also remember to note that the first FMA game and this game are not being developed by Square-Enix. They are just publishing the games while other companies develop them.
