1.Uncharted 2: 3 points (damn you naughty dog for creating such a masterpiece, uncharted was also great but not OMG AMAZING as this game, now go make a next gen jak and daxter game please)


2.Batman: arkham asylum: 2 points (damn really almost every batman game is awful, I think I live in bizarro world, because this batman game is so fantastic, thats not normal, batman games supposed to suck (see batman begins the game for example)


3.Street fighter 4: 2 points (finally a worthy street fighter game, before it was announced, I thought it would be another bad EX game, but this game take me back to the roots of street fighter 2.


4.Demons souls: 2 points (biggest surprise of the year, this game came out of nowhere and blew my mind, its so hard but yet so engrossing, this game will always be remembered by me in the upcoming 10 years)

5.Assassins creed 2: 1 point (I hated the first, ubisoft made everything good what was wrong with the first game and I love venice)

Not to worry, I was planning on releasing a ton of data like that. I'll be showing the point totals obviously, but I'll also be listing the number of times a game was voted for at all (# of appearances) as well as the number of 3's a game got, the # of 2's, the # of 1's, the average point value a game got when it was voted on, etc.

maybe next year, there should be an option to list consoles owned (and/or list pc if that is your main gaming platform)... should give more data...

just reading through the posts, I think I'm a little surprised a facebook or an iphone game isn't on the list... I mean there might be, as there are a lot of games that are on here that are unfamiliar to me, but what with the sheer number of players playing that farming game on facebook, I supposed that at least one person on gaf might vote for it or something... :D

I think limiiting people's console exclusive choices is unfair on people who have a single console or only a pc.
and also I'm one of the people who preferred tiers as that allows some games to be on a similiar level... They are still ranked, but less force from the rules gives more freedom of choice...I just needed more points to do a top ten list this time around... the old list allowed fifty-five maxium points... iirc... I think somewhere between twenty/twenty five would be better then the ten that was allowed...
