This is an unscientific poll for the purposes of determining how many Steam users on GAF:

• 1) Receive display notifications when a friend joins a game
• 2) Receive display notifications when a friend comes online

As implied, you must be a Steam user, though all platforms are eligible provided they have these options (I assume PS3 owners do, but it would be nice to have confirmation).

For reference on the PC version:

The two bottom left options. No username or formal identification is necessary, though if you wish to identify that's fine. All I ask is honesty.
