Semjaza Azazel said:That's really oversimplifying. Everything would get good reviews if you followed that mentality. "I don't like how this game is, but since other people may enjoy it I'll give it an A". Same with music and movie reviews.
That's why reviews are written. You're supposed to read them and pick out parts you do and don't agree with to inform your purchasing decision. The ending score can be twisted in a million ways if you ignore all of the context.
- Paul BryantMost PlayStation 2 owners should remember Square's similarly over hyped The Bouncer. I'd almost go as far as proclaiming Ninja Gaiden to be the Xbox equivalent.
...What? An opinion is, by definition, something that cannot be proven right or wrong.Lukas said:No I dont mean that. Cleary some games are crap and some arent, regardless of what you like.
For example, you can say chocolate icecream on a hot summer day taste like crap. Its your opinion, but you are still wrong.
Same goes for giving Ninja Gaiden a C- and calling it medicore. Its anything but medicore, infact it will be remembered as one of the greatest games ever.

we do have more than one person doing reviews you know.
What other parts? Stop pulling my leg.belgurdo said:Do people even visit any part of this site besides the forums?
Lukas said:whatever, atleast sites like Gamespot have the balls to change their reviews when they know they are wrong (Shenmue, Savage, etc.)
Wrong about what? It's their opinion.Lukas said:whatever, atleast sites like Gamespot have the balls to change their reviews when they know they are wrong (Shenmue, Savage, etc.)
How's that funny? Most people cite GameSpot/IGN/etc as the reviewer and not the actual person behind it. And that's probably how it should be. A site needs to be consistant regardless of who reviewed it. C- is "Gaming Age's" position on Ninja Gaiden...sp0rsk said:its funny how you cite GA as the reviewer.
