Can you check the eShop notifications and see if there are any software software removal ones.

Though sudden unwarned pulls is something NOA have been known to do in the past (they did that with the DKC Trilogy, about a day after people noticed the European notice...)
 
It shows up for me on the US eShop when I search "kokopolo". It thought it might be because I own the game, but the trailer showed up in the search too.

I assume it's not being taken down on the Japanese shop, correct? Since Arc System Works published it. PS Japanese gamers have no taste, as evidenced by Kokopolo having only 3.5 stars on the JP eShop.
 
Aghhh I can't find it on the shop! Did they remove it early? I was going to buy it right now knowing that it was being removed tomorrow. Anyone know what's going on?
 
I see it on 3DS but not DSi.

Lesson learned, DSi store sucks. How does that even work that one system has it and the other doesn't? Nintendo's online infrastructure has always been awful so not surprised really.
 
So this thing is really going away in the US store too? Didn't see any notification in the eShop, did skullomania say something about us getting an extra week compared to Europe maybe?

Reading through the original OT seems like there was a patch required at one point, how do patches even work on DSiware? Or is the version on eShop already fixed?

Since apparently it's impossible for this to go on sale I'll bite the bullet and use the last of my SMTxFE credit on it, the game has always looked pretty outstanding, I just kind of assumed a sale or re-release would happen at some point.

Yeah that was fixed IIRC.

I would hope that maybe this can be republished, what's stopping Circle from taking over?

It's already gone from the DSi store. Still on 3DS. Not sure what the extra week was about.
 
Yeah, it's gone from NA DSi stores, but still there for NA 3DS eShop.
Just picked it up. Would have preferred DSi but that's what I get for being late.

Probably not worth the time and effort, since sales of the game have virtually ended. Like the developer stated in the thread, those who wanted to own this game have had ample time to do so. If they haven't done so now they probably never would have.

I'm personally looking forward to the potential 3DS Kokopolo. Hopefully it fairs better on the much superior 3DS eShop.
 
Ah, so that is why it's being removed. That makes sense.

And, hope you eventually able to finish the 3DS sequel. Will buy. :)

Perhaps the 3DS version may include some or all of the original levels? Only a guess, though.

Hopefully more hilarious hidden stuff akin to the butterfly secret and the Pacifist Ending, too.

Is the butterfly secret that little bit on the title screen? I got up to 100 and figured nothing special was gonna happen beyond that.
 
I also forgot to buy it. Damn. Here's to hoping for a 3DS release.

Also, I'm a little bummed this thread got bumped. I was amused by the symmetry of cranky kong starting the thread with, "hey don't forget," and then cranky wrapping the thread up with, "Aw, I forgot."
