Does anyone know of a good sound recorder other than the default standard Microsoft sound recorder? I recorded a lecture from a chat room the other day using the default recorder and when I played it back....the sound left much to be desired. It was a bit muffled and unclear, unlike when I was listening to it live. Anything out there, specifically for speech in a chat room, that's better and of course, *free*?
