Thanks to EvilAvatar I found this video on Gamespot. It's an excellent peice about the thoughts of three designers on the state of graphics in the industry.

While Gamespot Complete members get to download the 1.17 gig video, regular visitors can stream it and watch the ~48 minute video in it's entirety.
I really enjoyed it and it's a fantastic look inside the minds of industry legends such as Will Wright (Sim City), Jordan Mechner (Prince of Persia), Rand Miller (Myst). While the beginning 5 minutes or so is really a waste (basic Gamespot history and general explanation) it really picks up after the introductions. If you have the time, please watch it! I think it shouldn't be missed by anyone, especially those who are unfamiliar with these developers.
