Gonna take the time to read through the OT today, but I grabbed this last night after the news yesterday

While Im busy balancing Stellar Blade and Fallout, I did fire it up for a sec and I gotta say even despite that Dench Deckard abusrd fandom, the game seems like itll really be something. Got major Comix Zone + Viewtiful Joe + Jet Set vibes within minutes. Like some out of time GameCube or Dreamcast game.

Cant wait to get to it.

Its the only character action game next to Viewtiful Joe where Im actively LOOKING FORWARD to each and every fight. Also I think if it didnt look or sound as good as it does those corridor/slight platformy moments in between battles would be boring as all hell. Truly a perfect example of style trumping everything, except this is incredible to play too.

It's a very special game that you can feel every piece of heart and soul that was poured into it. Fucking despicable that there won't be a sequel and some form of Netflix show based on it.

This really is turning out to be one of if not the best character action games I’ve ever played.

Finished up on Saturday and yup, it's my fav character action game by a country mile. Never have I ever wanted to replay one of these types of games as soon as I was finished. It's kinda dumb that difficulty trophies don't stack, but I guess that was a way for them to make you want to jump in again. Gonna romp through Easy mode unlocking the SPECTRA doors and mopping up collectibles.

10/10. Controls, combat, music, style - all perfect to me. Just an incredible achievement and it really sucks we'll never visit Chai & co again, but man what a way to go out for Tango.

I rarely get emotional, but for whatever reason the trek to the finale music "Whirring" by The Joy Formidable hit me hard in the feels. It was the perfect sound to closing out this amazing journey, and then when it kicks into high gear when you're fighting.... I swear I had happy tears running down the face.

I had the exact same reaction. It was just flawless, that's why. The pacing, emerging from the darker levels to that blue colorful sky mixed with the perfectly picked song for the mood, edited to advance perfectly along with the level. My eyes got misty not from sadness but just from literally seeing someone achieve something basically perfect. A fantastic moment just hitting on every level.
