I'm finding out what a pain in the ass the alien in Alien: Isolation is, now that I've finally advanced beyond the pain in the ass robots. I'm now diving into my crafting to confuse and astound the mother fucker.

The Secret World. It's technically an MMO, but there's not a whole lot of people playing it anymore. It's totally soloable though, fully voice acted cutscenes, and it has three main locales with a storyline for each area: Midwest America (Stephen King esque), Egypt, Transylvania.

The stories are really good, even the side ones. It's F2P as well, but if you end up completing the main three stories, you can buy "isssues," which are just additional story DLCs. They're also really good.

I'm down. But why the deep recent downtick in reviews?
Looks like some users are unhappy the game has no updates?
Weird reviews as the game got out of early access, release full 1.0 and it's a complete game from A to Z.

It is really great and the rogue like gameplay is fantastic for quick playthroughs.

Silent Hill (PS1) - A father looks for his missing daughter after a car accident in a nightmarish town.

There was this event called EEK3, but they don't seem to have an app to play all the games.

I guess you have to look them up, which is a pain in the ass. At least have a webpage or something.

"Bramble" is a nice, little title.
It's based on nordic mythology and it's got a great, creepy (and beautiful) atmosphere.
Done in 6-7 hours, and on game pass too.

As someone who's heard that these games were the scariest of them all before going in, I can proudly say I've beaten both.
I played both of them...for about two hours each then watched playthroughs for the rest lol. They were too much for me.

Strangely, Silent Hill 2 Remake has been doable even though it's objectively spooky--probably because I'm way more comfortable with third-person over the shoulder combat.
