I will have 5 uninterrupted hours today home alone with my kids at school and my wife at work. I just completed No More Heroes 2 last night to clear this time out. The last game before that was Okami. Time to start a new game. These are games that I own that I'd like to play. (Mostly Switch games as I'm trying to wrap that system up before the Switch 2 but a few others as well). Any suggestions?

Astral Chain
Fire Emblem Three Houses (Never played a FE game)
Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Mario & Rabbids: Kingdom Battle
Metroid Prime Remastered (I beat this on GameCube like 20 years ago)
Pikmin 4
Pokemon Sword
Super Mario RPG
Super Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door
PS5 - God of War: Ragnarok (It finally hit PS+)
XSX - Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (I have GamePass)

Indiana Jones for a nice adventure, super Mario RPG its also good, I prefer the this one more than the sequel....the only thing I didn't like it was the difficulty spike.

Fire Emblem Three Swords is pretty good if you want a change of pace and want to play a game with more tactical combat and quite well done story.

Indy is a great pick as well especially if you are fond of the first three movies.

And finally Astral Chain is quirky but it’s quite interesting with the combat and story isn’t too bad. Worth playing.

Man, if I just had 5 uninterrupted hours, and they were as rare as they sound for you, I would not spend them playing a videogame. I'd get outside, take a drive, take a walk in the park or the woods, or just sit and contemplate, no distractions. But that's me.

Go with Indy, don't start a longer game like FE:3H etc. if you're that time constrained. That way you're gonna get a lot of progress and feel like it was a chunky session.

5 hours … holy smokes that would be amazing.

I never get that. If it’s not the wife asking for something, it’s the kids. If it’s not the kids, it’s work. I don’t mind it generally but sometimes it would be nice to just have zero responsibilities for just a little while.

It sounds kind of terrible but sometimes I just love it when I go to work conferences as at night I can just sit in my room with literally nothing to do for bit. Even then, it’s not 5 hours straight. Lucky guy.

Anyways, back on topic. Definitely jump into something that is highly story driven so you can focus on it and pay attention. I vote Indy!
