Good things are bound to happen when you mix ID@Xbox and /twitchgaming! Here we are once again to showcase updates and new announcements of amazing games coming to Xbox from independent developers.

You can watch the /twitchgaming: ID@Xbox Fall Showcase exclusively on Twitch at Twitch.tv/twitchgaming or Twitch.tv/xbox.

This year we’d like to kick off the showcase with a pre-show by Black Girl Gamers. They’ll be showing us some exciting gameplay of Versus Evil’s multiplayer deception madness game, Eville. The pre-show will kick off on Wednesday, September 14 at 9:30 a.m. PT and can be watched directly at twitch.tv/blackgirlgamers or during the co-stream on Twitch.tv/twitchgaming or Twitch.tv/xbox.

The main showcase itself will feature updates for Metal: Hellsinger, You Suck at Parking, and more. Look out for new announces and trailers, what’s coming soon to Game Pass, a deeper dive with developer interviews, and gameplay of Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed (plus a couple other fun titles). Catch this part of the show on Wednesday, September 14 at 10 a.m. PT on Twitch at Twitch.tv/twitchgaming or Twitch.tv/xbox.

For all you Twitch streamers, this event is open to co-streaming. Here are directions on how to do just that!

We hope you can join us for this 90 plus minutes of exciting news and debuts on Wednesday, September 14 at 10 a.m. PT for the /twitchgaming: ID@Xbox Fall Showcase! For all the latest ID@Xbox news, be sure to stay tuned to Xbox Wire and @ID_Xbox on Twitter.

Throw in the COD Next show on the 15th which I am looking forward to seeing hoping they can make COD something I am interested in again
Last I bought was MW2019, so I'm hoping to see something to draw me back in too. I hate watching the campaign demos though. so hopefully there's not much of that.

This is supposed to be full on MP and letting a lot of content creators play and either record it to show on their channels

I too haven't really enjoyed the last several CODs and if there is a 2 year wait for the next COD I am hoping this one is good

Remember it's an indie showcase and it will have a decent amount of talking. I am trying to remember how long March's one was.

It was like half the day, they spent plenty of time with devs and let them show off their games.

For an idea of the types of titles that come in under the ID@XBOX banner:

https://www.youtube.com/c/IDXbox/videos

Know this before you complain about having tuned in for an Xbox showcase and "all it was was a bunch of damned dirty indies?!" This is what ID@XBOX handles. Be informed ahead of time if this is the type of show for you.

(Also, ID@Xbox shows tend to be chatty and give developers a longer play session, so you probably won't see a huge number of games, but for the good games that would interest indie-goers, this would be a chance to hopefully see an extended play session of them outside of the normal trailer release.

Will just keep a running list
Eville*
Walking Dead the Final Season*
Big Con*
Rainbow Billy
Homestead Arcana*
Call of the Wild: The Angler

* on GP
As you're running a list I might bounce, these twitch streams suck, far too much talking.
Also rainbow Billy is coming to an game pass too, you missed a *

Can you post trailers to anything notable?

Ha! They actually took a 5-minute break in the middle of a "Showcase"?

Such a weird way that ID@Xbox treats events (this really shouldn't have been held during TGS, or anywhere near the Nintendo or Sony events yesterday, although this is not at all intended to be the same thing,) but there's some interesting stuff in these shows if you are into indies.

Homestead Arcana so far is the title to check into:

I also really like the look and feel of this cartoony RPG on screen now, Born of Bread:

Yeah, will do a summary thread/post at the end.

Would be good if you could try to also add platforms into the games list... although they almost never freaking say what platforms the games are on, which is annoying. (Be aware, people, the "ID@Xbox" name does not mean the game will be on Xbox. Some of the games they showed are only on PC.)

I think this is the breakdown so far?
Eville (Xbox & PC)*
Walking Dead the Final Season (Xbox & PC)*
Big Con (Xbox & PC)*
Rainbow Billy (Xbox & PC)*
Homestead Arcana (Xbox & PC)*
Call of the Wild: The Angler (PC)
Born of Bread (PC?)
SpiderHeck (Xbox & PC, also Switch & PS)
Song of Iron 2 (Xbox & PC)
Shoulders of Giants (Xbox & PC)
Metal Hellsinger (Xbox & PC, also PS)*

Yeah, I am liking the look of Born of Bread as well. Especially the different abilities.

More info and their Twitter, for those interested in additional info:

Watched for a bit, but got bored out of my mind so had to tune out to keep my sanity. I'll catch whatever highlights come out of it if any.
Same here. They should just do the Nintendo Direct format. This is a bore fest.

It's an indie show. They made a mistake in not putting miles away from the Nintendo/Sony events yesterday, but it's a different type of show. It's long-form, and it's intimate. If they put it in the Direct format, where they pretended that this was news for everybody to tune in for as soon as it breaks, it'd be a huge misrepresentation of what games are being showcased and why.

...But, that being said, it does try your patience that it's 2 hours and they've shown less than a dozen games and half the show is just chat and breaks.

So, how was it? Any cool demos on Xbox to download?

No, I don't recall of any games being available as demos to download, or any stealth drops. Some titles have announced Game Pass plans, and you can go check some of these games out on Steam. (Frustratingly, a lot of the titles at this ID@XBOX show have not been Xbox games; I get that ID isn't exclusively for Xbox games, but still, I want green-box games at this show.)

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?

Well, good that there's a sum-up for the people who couldn't possibly sit through a 2-hour chatfest... would have been good if MS had gotten all the details right, though. (Just about all of the games marked "console" are also on PC, Born of Bread is only PC I believe, Eville video link doesn't link to the video, etc.) Thanks for the link, but stick with R reksveks , GAF did it better.

AJUMP23

Parody of actual AJUMP23
What would be cool is if Xbox did a god of war style game but set around Greek mythology. I think it could be a system seller for them.
