*It should be noted: Evil Empire did
not make Dead Cells; that was Motion Twin.
Evil Empire is Motion Twin's content partner, and they worked on all the DLC and maintenance/updates for the game since 2019, including Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania. EE is something of a spin-off of Motion Twin, and it basically took over the ongoing game development for Dead Cells (with consultation with the MT team; both studios are based in France, FYI.) The two studios only recently
officially ended new content support for Dead Cells last February after 5 years, 4 DLCs, 18 updates, and a bunch of free stuff on top of an epically-long base game.
Motion Twin is a game development studio based in France, known for Dead Cells.

This rumored Prince of Persia game would be the first ground-up title from Evil Empire.
Motion Twin has, in the meantime, been active in the time since the 2018 launch of Dead Cells (in part thanks to this Evil Empire partnership keeping Cells active) and has commenced its next project. Their follow up is called
Windblown, and it is a solo/3p-co-op 3D roguelike action game. The game will see an Early Access release on PC in 2024.
