As someone who's never owned an iPhone, i feel pretty safe knowing this is a definite purchase without feeling pangs of guilt (or sarcastically brushing the phone off) knowing full well its not that big of a leap from the previous iteration.

As a 3gs owner, my response to the new phone is 'meh.' All the way this improves is in the ways I don't use phones. Though I'm tempted to upgrade to free 4.
