I lost it at that point. I think the kicker was when they pretty much said, you know that HDMI cable you bought from Best Buy for $100? It's useless! Buy an all new high speed HDMI cable!

I visited their studios! And yes, they are completely bummed out about having to make the crap. And they had some awesome original movie concepts coming down the line, but when the new CEO came she dropped them and made them focus on Smurfs... and their next movie is even more out of date. Just you wait and see.

And the reason they keep making Open Season, is because it sells like CRAZY in Russia. Also, Open Season 3 is only in theaters in Russia... they are OBSESSED with bears there. Like me.
