Which level? The galaxy where you're running to specific patches of brown land so you can shake the Wii remote and drill to a different section? The galaxy where you're rolling around as a giant rock smashing into a bunch of Octogoombas, which involves shaking the Wii remote? The galaxy where you're literally being spun around in circles by different gravitational fields, or maybe the galaxy which involves flying as Bee Mario to different platforms--flying, not jumping--and more of, you guessed it, shaking the Wii remote to spin on those long vines?
If 64 had better controls it could dominate the 3D Mario titles, maybe even stake a legitimate claim at best game ever made. But anyway, 3D World beats them both in the pure platforming aspect of things. Galaxy and Galaxy 2 were made for casuals. 3D World was made for the people who grew up on platforming, 2D or 3D, and don't require any additional gimmicks besides running, jumping, and more running and jumping to enjoy a game.
