I remember when everyone thought Konami would die without Kojima.

Nice pun.Be Quiet.
In all seriousness Konami's performance of getting it right is mostly driven by efootball microtransactions and esports. So not sure how much you personally want more companies getting it right there but I'd take less of that and more of SH2.
Most of them have no idea that THAT Konami (Konami Digital Entertainment) has a parent company (Konami Group).I remember when everyone thought Konami would die without Kojima.
Their gaming profits were mainly driven by eFootball. What did Konami even do this year to boost their profits? That Contra remake had little impact, Castlevania DLC for Vampire Survivors I am sure made them bank but couldn't have been too much seeing as how they only get a cut of $5 or whatever it cost. MGS3 Remake is not out yet. Silent Hill 2 is the only big game for them I can think of, couldn't have cost that much to develop and sold well.
Are we sure their profits aren't just from their health clubs and Pachinko machines and their other non-gaming crap?

Konami has been rolling in cash since they got rid of Kojima with his outrageous Holywood inflated budgets.
It was the right call, kudos for their management.

Kojima nearly bankrupted them with his lavish spending for a single game.I remember when everyone thought Konami would die without Kojima.
New Momotaro game with 1.5m units sold with extremely low budget, plus eFootball mobile profits, and together with baseball game in Japan that outsold FF7 Rebirth. What did Konami even do this year to boost their profits? They primarily make their money elsewhere nowadays, not just video games. Casinos, real estate, etc. What did Konami even do this year to boost their profits?
