Is it true that Chungha came from the States?
A friend of a friend(Horse Fany's acquaintance actually) claims Chungha lived here in Dallas for almost 10 years or something like that. Supposedly, they still even have a place here or something like that and that she often visited when she could but apparently that stopped right around P101 happened.
That's pretty interesting if true. There's always been a significant Korean population here in Dallas, even before Californians migrated over here in the last few years, but I never thought somebody local would actually make it to the industry.
I'm in love with this song lol.
Tbh, I never really liked IU's past songs besides Sogyeokdong and The Shower so this is a surprise for me.
Then again, I'm down for anything R&B so it may not be a surprise lol.
Are you part of the "Dean wrote me a song so I hate him" club too?
Lolol.
I watched their reveal and Somin seems like a great addition... she's not exactly scared of the original members but she's definitely new to variety still and more often than not, she looks sorta lost and awkward lol.
Sechan on the other hand is alright but I think I like him more than Sehyung... mostly because Sechan's character isn't annoying and childish like Sehyung.
But even from that, I feel like the new casts aren't necessarily gonna change the trajectory of RM... they'll just probably delay the inevitable imo. I plan to watch more of the ep this weekend though.
Speaking of variety, I've mentioned this before and I'll say it again, Unnies 2 is seriously amazing.
I finished up last weeks ep when they were recording the song and it was sorta of an enlightening moment for me... a lot of the comments and suggestions about singing from the PD's made so much sense to me. That comment about Kim Sook sounding salty is something I've heard before when I was studying music a few years ago so it was really fascinating to hear a similar comment from somebody on the other side of the world lol.
Then also seeing Yewon still have her classical training ingrained in her was such a cool moment even though it's a bad thing for this circumstance. When she started singing I Have a Lover, I started wondering who the fuck was cutting onions at midnight lol.
More importantly, watching Yewon and Chaeyoung get better at singing makes me feel proud for some reason. I dunno, I guess I just enjoy seeing the process coz I sorta experienced it myself and I guess I find it very relatable.

(Bae Doona x Dean) 배두나 X 딘 플라워파워 (FLOWER POWER)
I hate Dean, but this is good.

Has anyone watched the latest Running Man yet? It's the one with the new members.
