Does it really look the same?

I've spent a few nights(albeit while drunk lol) exploring the Venetian in Vegas and I don't remember it looking like this. Like it looks similar, but all the indoor-Venice copycats all look-alike imo. There's one in the Philippines and I could swear it was the Vegas one, the biggest give away was that there weren't any white people at all haha.

That's interesting coz I feel like it's the opposite. The songs aren't exactly in the vein of GS but the beat and general feel of the songs seems like it's reminiscent of that era. Either way, I personally don't think these songs are US friendly to begin with so even if he's trying to recreate that feel, I don't think it's going to work... it's too much Korean to work imo.

Anyway, who are the rest of the people in that picture? I honestly only recognize Somi, Seulgi, and Moonbyul...are the rest nugus or what? Also, is that Jimmy Fallon escorting them??

It's on Spotify and should be on iTunes, since they are included in their special summer release "Sweet & Sour" that included I Swear.

Funny enough, my friend and I were thinking of going to the LA mini "concert"/fanmeet but found it hard to justify the ticket price for 4 songs and chatting with the members :p

Hype for the debut nonetheless

Vivi's MV only missing 5.000 views to get to 300k views and reveal the next Loona member, but it's like at a pace of 1k per day :/

I find it really interesting the lack of attention this groups seems to be getting despite the constant content and music uploads. They seem to have a really positive buzz, but they only have 50k subscribers in their youtube channel and their MV count views are quite low.

Like, Dreamcatcher Really Really cover has almost more views than this. I wonder if the group will end up flopping.

I think I've already mentioned it, but I'm so done with this pre debut gimmick. Still looking forward to an actual group debut, just can't be bothered with them currently.

lol, you are not going to make any friends if you write the bolded and then link to a T-ara video. You should have gone with a boy group for maximum sympathy.
Although the dead eyes comment is quite accurate for some of the T-ara members.

You can search "blackpink fancams" on youtube and activate the 4K filter to only get 4k results. Like this one.

I think it's more the 60FPS rather than the resolution which makes their movements look less 'cinematic' .. But yeah T-ara isn't known for their flawless performances either so nothing new there. The dead look has been part of their brand since 2012.

Let's be fair to LoonaTheNeverDebut...

They're not exactly the type of girl group who has the ability to "influence" others. In fact, their fans might end up going to jail if they tried doing that lol.

Dreamcatcher on the other hand is, and to put it bluntly, hot as fuck and can use those charms to bring in an audience. I'm not ignoring DC's talent either, I'm just stating the visual facts, that's all.

Speaking of Dreamcatcher, their version of Really Really is so good. I heard Winner's version the other day and felt it was inferior and a cover of DC's cover lolol.

Also forgot to mention Unnies - Right? MV is out but I'm on mobile so somebody else plz link it.

The MV is hilarious and surprisingly well produced, I was expecting a ghetto MV judging from last week's ep but it was actually pretty amazing. More thoughts later when I get off work haha.

So much better than Shut Up imo. It's so fun and the little jokes in there for the people that watched the show are brilliant. I think I actually prefer La La La and its stage, but Right? suits the cast and the music video so well. Hope it stays up there as no 1
(until Twice inevitably take it duh).

Sitting here at work editing a video for a dental practice run by Koreans... one of the dentists is doing her interview, screws up on camera and let's out this baby sounding whine.

Goddamit she just did aegyo on camera!

I almost wanted to punch my monitor the moment I heard that sound ugh lol. What's odd is that she's somewhere in her 40's and has a perfect American accent so seeing that shit threw me off lol.

I know part of the thing with Unnies is watching the show, knowing the characters and seeing their progress... but the song is SO bad. I could see people enjoying the video, but the song by itself... yikes.

Yet the song is somehow managing to hang and sometimes surpass Psy and IU who are arguably the biggest acts in K-Pop.

I know music charts aren't really indicative of song quality but it at least tells you that the song is generally well-liked enough that people bought it en masse.

The biggest story imo is that it's actually kind of a wonder that the song is ranking so high when the show itself has shitty ratings. Where the hell did all these people come from??

I guess even with all the financial backing in the world, the nugu struggle is still as real as ever. Perhaps when they actually debut, things will pick up and they'll get some more attention.

Also, as much as I like some of the music Loona has put out, I feel like the group has yet to release a track that's really capable of capturing the wider public's imagination.
