People don't usually care if it is not done in a preachy way like it is the main selling polling. Like "Traash can fill your pipes" - nobody wants to listen to that, while nobody had an issue with the ability to develop relationships with Alistair in the DAO.
Agreed, having a lesbian or gay character doesn't mean woke. New Vegas has multiple lesbian and gay characters and it's one of the best game of all times. Woke freaks just want to find some form of victory after having so many woke failures last year in so many games and shows etc. And it seems woke folks were the ones that wanted this game to fail due to the game director or whatever not agreeing with their sick and twisted ways.

Woke is forced stuff, forced diversity, aka puting black guy in feudal japan and making him protagonist and samurai, like in AC:S, or giving joel golf club treatment and forcing us to play as his killer in tlou2, who looks like srs steroid abuser yet has no facial hair and is voiced by very feminine voice actress, or like in spiderman2- making peter who is superhero stud with decent job, financially stable with amazing house in the suburbs having 50yo looking gf like mj, just few examples of clown world here.
