HomeLAN - What other new and improved gameplay elements will The Sith Lords have?
Mike Gallo - Weve spent some time refining the user interface a bit, but since we were all really happy with the way things were in the first game, this is seen as more of a facelift than a complete redo. On the action menu you can now switch between two different weapon configs while in combat or just walking around. The weapon configs can be set up on the equip screen, just like normal, only now there are two slots. On the game play side, weve made more use of the players base skills. We just wanted to get more out of the treat injury skill for example. Weve also added over 60 new feats and Force powers to the game, which will add to the strategic elements in combat, and will offer new choices when leveling up your characters.
HomeLAN - Finally, what is the current status of the games progress and when will it be released?
Mike Gallo - We are rapidly approaching our Alpha date, and this means that were nearly complete with the creation of all assets for the game. Obviously, that doesnt mean that the game is done there are still months of polish, bug fixing and tuning to do, and that will be the primary focus of the team during the summer / fall. Well have a much better feel on a specific release date once we achieve Alpha, but were still currently set to ship in Winter. The PC and Xbox versions are at exactly the same stage right now, so were confident that we can launch them simultaneously.
