I think this poll will be a good experiment here at GAF considering that we're predominantly a conservative gaming forum and yet some members showcase what I would call a surprisingly high level of tolerance for this woke nonsense in the industry nowadays, so the idea of the poll is to quantify our overall tolerance for the stuff.

BTW: YOUR VOTE WONT BE PUBLIC, as much as some of you want to see who are all the ResetEra ninjas and wokest members at NeoGAF I decided to make the poll secret to both avoid some of you potentially insulting members and to ensure the biggest amount of participation so I repeat YOUR VOTE IS SECRET and only the numbers are shown.

Voted low since i defo gonna play kcd2(atm got huge backlog including ff rebirth and ff16 im working on so kcd2 gotta wait bit longer ;p), but actually i consider kcd2 not woke, for trully woke games i got 0 tolerance, aka pleasure from playing the game is so much reduced that there is 0 point for me to play it even for free.
My worlview is like most of 8b ppl(or at least like most of 4b men living on earth- aka im big time antifeminism and despize everything woke stands for
Edit: In my mind i think i am "zero tolerance for wokeness" but if i check poll options i had to go with low, just before i started playing ff16 i finished AA game called dungeons 4, where protagonist is female(sexy witty evil dark elf female, but still female) and enjoyed the hell out of it, including its 2 expacks

I would say "Low" not because "a little is ok" but because I don't mind it if it's well written and not to lecture me as a player.
Like Mass Effect 1, if it came out today some people would think the game is terribly woke, but personally I don't care because the story is amazing and it's not a focus. Or with BG3, you can do whatever the fuck you want but it's still one of the best RPG ever created.

For KCD2, the Hans romance is fuckin stupid. It adds nothing but cringe and the way it's introduced during the prison scene is terrible. Now with the declaration of Vavra you start to have a bingo for stupid wokeness. Thankfully the rest of the game is very good.

I wanted to vote Low but I enjoy AC Shadows and I don't believe it belongs to "high", and I liked the Last of Us remake (as I like Naughty Dogs games) so I don't know what to vote.

I said "low", but that feels a little more... medium to me. More "progressive" than "woke", I guess. I'm fine having ideas in the game that I disagree with, but I am not fine with those unnaturally being made a focal point of the experience to the detriment of the things that actually matter. I really had no issue with it in TLOU II, for example. I did have an issue with the gameplay being poorly-designed garbage.

I think the line for me is, as soon something is forced opon me, then I will not like it.
The very low option: woman as a protagonist, would even inlcude games like Stellar Blade, NieR Automata or Bayonetta.
I think none of them could be called woke in any kind of aspects, no matter how you look at the games.

A good and fine line for a strong woman but does not shout WOKE in your face is IMO Olivia from Monster Hunter Wilds.
Strong, fights along, looks a bit bulkier than the other girls, but it makes sense. She uses a motherfucking huge Hammer to destroy Monsters..
But so far in none of the scene or events it shouted "WOKE" to me.

If you have the anything woke, which can be ignoriered or is purely optional, good for all those who need it.

Voted low, but I also blacklist several companies, or only buy for very cheap if I know they push it. It depends really. I have been putting up with it for too long and I am now overly sensitive to it. I am sick of rolling my eyes and face palming while gaming. Once I have lost trust in a developer, I am unlikely to trust again.

I simply will never play something like Dustborn because the gameplay looks like shit and the art style is atrocious, other than that I don't care.

Even Veilguard "unique" characters weren't a problem for me, the terrible story, stupid dialogues and the awful combat were.

I don't want wokeness in games, but that doesn't mean that I care if the protagonist is a woman or not. It really has more to do with the way they present the story the message the characters. There is a lot that goes into it. Do you make a character a certain way because that is the vision, or because you want to appeal to certain demographics or maybe even marketable reasons. It is more about the agenda/idealogy than the game itself.

Thats my point, wokeness is forced diveristy, in a lot of entertainment u have plenty of females or minorities and no1 has problem with that as long as its not forced(aka makes sense).

I do stick to my values, instinct, conscience and principle in everything. For me, I have Zero tolerance not on race issue or woman protagonist, but zero tolerance against twisted gender ideology especially use of binary, misuse of pronoun, transgenderism and same sex romance. Very low here. Almost zero. I didn't mind women protagonists in the past (Samus is probably my favorite video game character even) but in modern games it got ridiculous, especially with the high amount of black women (checks both minority and gender status boxes) and/or average/ugly looking women who reportedly only exist to stop the "male gaze" (basically to stick it to the 90% of gamers). So we know their existence is forced and not organic or for the sake of the games themselves. By people who always hated games and gamers since forever and now they managed to infiltrate industry so they can "educate" us.
