The Labs thing is a fucking joke. It's one of the gestures egotistical managers make when they want to seem like they care about an issue, just spend a bunch of cash on a solution, but never change any of their core operating principles / policies. "Why of course we're very serious about testing, look at all this expensive testing gear." meanwhile he doesn't want to pay for the labour that serious testing takes on a continual basis and they still rush videos out the door. I've gone through the same shit in my career with managers crying about security and thinking they can throw money at the problem, like a hardware box in a rack will fix it, meanwhile they want a completely open ecosystem with no barriers. We don't want our data leaked but also want all users to be able to upload to the internet freely without restriction.
No one should take LTT seriously for tech information. That isn't to say their videos can't be entertaining but you should go to LTT because you want to watch a grown man fuck up a C&C machine or strap a bulky heatsink on to their steam deck. You should not go there for hard hitting tech reviews / specs.
